A SAIR (Situational Awareness and Incident Readiness) Self-Defense Class will be offered for women ages 15 and up on January 5, 2019, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the American Legion Post 39 Legion Hall in Taylor.
Post 39 with the support of the Salvation Army and Asgard National Training Group will host this class designed to empower women with training in various techniques of self-defense. Asgard Group Instructors Steve and Stacey Smith will lead the group and cover an extensive section on situational awareness for personal safety. This class will also include training in passive release and escape techniques followed by defensive counter strikes.

Anyone under the age of 18 must attend this class with a parent.
